I Surf. I Vote

The importance of voting transcends the interests of surfers, but that does not change the fact that our identity as surfers can affect how we vote.  Many coastal states have elections in the coming months and several of them with issues that affect us as surfers. 

Issues such as off-shore drilling, ocean conservation, and property rights will be presented on upcoming ballots. Surfing political action committee "Blue Uprising" is looking to raise awareness on these issues, as well organize non-partisan event in California.

No matter what side of the political spectrum you gravitate towards, we can all agree on our love for the ocean, supporting organizations like Blue Uprising can help spread that love.
